துப்புரவு தொழிலாளர்களின் சமூக பொருளாதார மற்றும் கல்வி வளர்ச்சியை மேம்படுத்த, தமிழ்நாடு அரசு 11.06.2007 அன்று ஆதிதிராவிடர் நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் தலைமையில் 13 அதிகாரப்பூர்வ உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட தோட்டி நல வாரியத்தை நிறுவியது.
நல வாரிய உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு பல்வேறு நலத்திட்டங்களுக்கு நிதியுதவி வழங்குவதற்காக 2008-09, 2009-10 மற்றும் 2010-11 ஆம் ஆண்டுகளில் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ரூ.1.00 கோடியை அரசு அனுமதித்துள்ளது.
