TN BEAT EXPO 2026

TAHDCO organised TN BEAT EXPO 2026 on 24th & 25th January 2026 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, as a two-day Exhibition/Vendor Development Programme for SC/ST entrepreneurs from across India. The Expo recorded a footfall of 30,000+ visitors and featured 450 stalls, comprising 191 B2B stalls, 182 B2C stalls, 11 bank stalls, 21 State and Central PSU stalls, 20 startup stalls and 25 TAHDCO stalls. The Vendor Development Programme focused on connecting SC/ST entrepreneurs with PSUs through buyer-seller meets, sector-specific interactions, procurement awareness, supplier onboarding and long-term business linkages.

Aadhi Kalaikol - Art & Cultural Workshop for Adi Dravidar Youth

Aadhi Kalaikol Pattarai 2025

Aadhi Kalaikol Pattarai 2025 was a three-day residential workshop organised by the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) on behalf of the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, from 22nd to 24th September 2025. The workshop was designed to introduce SC/ST students and youth to the evolution, importance and future opportunities in arts and culture. Around 400 SC/ST youth benefited through training sessions, demonstrations, practical learning and cultural activities. Day 1 – Orientation Introduction to various art forms and their cultural significance. Interaction with renowned artists and selection of preferred art forms. Day 2 – Training Sessions Full-day hands-on training by experts in Folk Arts, Theatre Arts, Literary Arts and Visual Arts. Practical learning, rehearsals and creative activities. Day 3 – Field Visit & Valedictory Field visits to relevant cultural and artistic spaces. Final-stage performances by participants showcasing their learning. Valedictory function with appreciation and certificates for participants.

TN BEAT EXPO 2025

TAHDCO organised TN BEAT EXPO 2025 on 25th & 26th January 2025 for SC/ST entrepreneurs from across India. The Expo recorded a footfall of 36,000+ visitors and featured 517 stalls, comprising 233 B2B stalls, 214 B2C stalls, 17 bank stalls, 20 State and Central PSU stalls, 20 startup stalls and 13 TAHDCO stalls. A two-day conference featuring experts from various fields was conducted for students and entrepreneurs.

Aadhi Kalaikol 2024

The Aadhi Kalaikol – Adi Dravidar & Tribal Literary and Art Conclave, held on 2 December 2024 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, was a landmark initiative celebrating the rich literary, artistic and cultural heritage of Adi Dravidar and Tribal communities. With 15,000+ visitors, the exhibition showcased their history, traditions and creative expressions through a Wall of History, 300+ photographs by 40+ eminent photographers, 100+ paintings and sculptures, 1,000+ books, and 800+ traditional musical instruments and artistic costumes. The conclave also featured 20+ interactive traditional art workshops and showcased 30+ suppressed art forms, including Tribal Dances, Naiyandi Melam and other traditional performances. A literary seminar with 11 contemporary writers explored issues relating to social justice, education, economic empowerment and cultural preservation. Through its diverse exhibitions, workshops, literary discussions and cultural performances, Aadhi Kalaikol provided a vibrant platform to preserve, promote and celebrate the heritage and contributions of Adi Dravidar and Tribal communities.

TN BEAT EXPO 2024

The first TN BEAT EXPO was held on 26th & 27th January 2024 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, for SC/ST entrepreneurs. The Expo featured 420 stalls, including 800 products manufactured by Adi Dravidar and Tribal entrepreneurs. It also included 187 stalls covering motor vehicle spares, chemical products, electrical and electronics, agro-based machinery, construction equipment and IT; 28 stalls for Government organisations; 10 stalls for nationalised and private banks; and 128 stalls showcasing handmade and handcrafted products, wooden products, ornaments, food and beverages and organic products. The Expo recorded a footfall of over 25,000 visitors. A two-day conference with industry experts was also conducted to support budding entrepreneurs.
