Objective
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to those who establish their own Clinic/ Lab / Medical Stores in the fields of Allopathy (MBBS), Dental (BDS), Siddha (BSMS), Ayurvedic (BAMS) Naturopathy and Yoga (BNYS). From the year 2013 – 14, this scheme was extended to the persons qualified in paramedical disciplines such as, physiotherapy, pharmacy, ophthalmology and lab technology to setup Clinics / Medical stores and Labs. The applicants should have already been registered with council concerned.
Subsidy
- 30% of the project cost or Rs.2.25 lakhs whichever is lower. The subsidy will be a Front End Subsidy.
Eligibility
- To establish clinic, the applicant should have MBBS/BSMS/BDS degree.
- The applicant and their family members should not have availed any subsidy under TAHDCO schemes.
- The applicant should register his / her name in the Indian Medical Council.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.3.00 lakh.
